Mad Mac

In response to President Trump's admission that he is a "nationalist" (as opposed to being a globalist), French President Macron (right) recently decreed that nationalism is "the very opposite" of patriotism.  Macron took the liberty to pervert the commonly understood meaning of "patriotism" (love of and devotion to one's own country), by attempting to associate patriotism more closely with globalism than with nationalism.  Macron evidently wants the world to believe that a true patriot is one who embraces the globalist agenda; whereas, those (like President Trump) who are inclined to give priority to their own national interests, are "traitors," Macron said.

Traitors ~ to what?  Indeed.  They are traitors to a globalist world Order.

Meanwhile, Macron is urging ~ together with his ideological mistress German Chancellor Angela Merkel (seated next to Macron, above) ~ the formation of a "real European army," to defend Europe against the likes of Russia, China, and . . . the United States!

Unlike the phony "patriot" Trump, Macron (a real patriot) has pledged his allegiance to the New World Order.  Globalism ~ and not nationalism, is Macron's polestar.  What, then, does Macron mean by wanting to form a pan-European army?  Didn't Macron even go so far as to identify his supposed enemies, i.e.: Russia, China, and the United States?  Is that how Macron envisions the "globalist" agenda, namely, four world superpowers slugging it out with each other until magically there would appear from the ash-heap of that Apocalypse some Utopian Shangri-La?

Macron is a liar.  His call for a European army is nothing else but nationalism writ large.  In fact, Macron is a nationalist; albeit he would rule a nation-state much larger than what can fit within the borders of France: he would rule all of Europe.

Moreover, he being a true patriot (by his own definition), he would rule the whole world.

Evidently it all makes perfectly good sense, in his own mind.

Come to think of it, in some small way he reminds me of Napoleon Bonaparte.....
