I've provided a link to that video (here). The audio is very poor ~ but transcripts of what Gervais said are very, very clear. And (here) is a link to an article on Breitbart that includes both video and transcript. It were better that you should read the original article, than that I should cut and paste a few snippets of that.
I have for some time been urging that, before Jesus returns to take his own People out of this world (at the Rapture), I believe God is going to expose the darkness, in preparation then to bring the same to judgment. Very recently, I wrote that the End-time harvest has already begun ~ as evidenced by the great dividing and separating that I see is occurring on a massive scale.
So many great changes and movements are happening at once, and at such rapid pace, it is not possible to expound at length concerning everything of importance. Still, in my mind, there appears to be a grand Theme that is steadfastly unfolding before my eyes, namely: the appearing of Jesus Christ is imminent. And every time I say that, or write about it, the reality of that claim is quickly approaching ever nearer to its fulfillment. The more I say it, the more true it is: Jesus is coming, SOON!
Government is spinning wildly out of control; Healthcare in America has become a high stakes criminal enterprise; Education is worse than a basket case: it is a breeding ground of sedition and anarchy; The "Arts" are competing to see who can conceive and portray the most abominable ideas and images. Meanwhile, the churches…used to make me weep; now, they make me indignant.
"This honor have all his saints" (Psalm 149:9). What "honor" doth He mean? Why, the honor to "execute THE judgment written." But how were it honorable to give judgment into the hands of them who are not much grieved by the offense? who are not ashamed of their voyeurism? who call themselves Christians whilst sipping liquor and voting to support homosexuality and infanticide? who have not in years shed a tear for the Lost?
Ricky Gervais was very bold to call out Hollywood's elite as being hypocrites. But Gervais ~ in all his righteous indignation (or his drunkenness; I know not which), did not even come close to casting eternal Fire into the midst of that crowd.
Oh, but it's coming. And even Tom Hanks will not be smirking, then.
