the great shaking is near!

It's coming!!  The great shaking is coming!!
Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand...   Joel 2:1
"Let ALL the inhabitants of the land tremble," saith God!  So, it shall surely happen.  The Bible says that God's voice--

then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.  And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.  Hebrews 12:26
The woman in the picture, above, is a prophet unto us.  Oh, yes, she is.  Precious soul.  Behind that brutally disfigured form--her skin melted like wax to seal the pools where once her eyes were set; her mouth a raw, gaping hole where once her lips adorned: she sees better now, than before, the future of this present world.  And in this photograph, at least, she now speaks far more eloquently, if not so pleasantly, concerning the judgment of God that is approaching with mind-numbing speed to shake to pieces the very foundations, literally, of this world.

No.  Do not listen to me.  "Hear my speech, but do not understand my words," said the prophet Isaiah.  Such unthinkable things as I openly set before you are not suitable for polite conversation, certainly not 'here' (wherever you may be reading this)--nor anywhere else for that matter, no, not even in the churches.  But silence the prophet!!  Shut him out from among us!  And bring us someone who will speak unto us words we want to hear.

From heaven it comes, Scripture saith:
And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and FEARFUL sights and GREAT signs shall there be FROM HEAVEN.  Luke 21:11
When it begins to appear and is visible to all, a spirit of uncontrollable fear comes with it.  A far greater fear is coming, of a kind unknown to modern man.  This fear shall consume the minds of human beings like gripping pains overtake a woman travailing in labor, according to Scripture:
All faces shall gather blackness; and they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.  (Joel 2:6; Isaiah 13:8)
"Oh, do not speak to us of judgment and destruction, but speak words of peace to us!" the people demand.  Peace? peace?  "There is no peace to the wicked," saith God.  Yet, I will speak "comfortably" to the people of God, saying to you, that "your warfare is accomplished" (Isaiah 40:2):
Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. (Isaiah 52:1)
If we do not understand that is a call to the Body of Christ to be pure and holy, and that we are not to have any fellowship with the works of darkness--no, nor yet with those who cling to darkness while professing Christ; then, we also are part of that "city of confusion [which] is broken down" (Isaiah 24:10).

Is Christ truly your Lord and Master?  Or is your own reputation in this world the most important thing to you?  Do you care more about what other people--most of whom hate Christ--think about you, than you care about what God thinks of you?  Or do you really not understand why the Son of God was willing--because it was necessary--that He should suffer and die--for your sins?  Or is it, simply, that you love this present world more than you love the Savior of your soul?

You may even, perhaps, be willing to deceive your own self.  But when this great shaking comes, together with the unspeakable fear which comes with it, what will you do, then?  To whom will you turn for your help in that day?  For, no man shall be able to quiet your fear and restore your peace, in that day.  Not even if you hate Christ, but if you so much as neglect or ignore Him, you do so to your own soul's peril.  For, in that day, none shall be able to help you, to keep you, even to lift you up: no, none but Him alone.

Seek Him with all your heart, while you have the opportunity.  For, if you refuse His voice, today, He may well refuse yours, in that day.  And "that day" is even on your calendar; if you only knew it....
