So, when I say that the whole world is right now in spiritual meltdown ~ that is only because I have no stronger words to describe the phenomenal moral collapse that is occurring worldwide. What is happening, everywhere, is breathtaking in scope, and appalling in character. The most wicked, most abhorrent, things ~ things which can hardly be imagined would ever enter anyone's mind ~ are not only being done, but those things are now being done openly. Truthfully, I don't think it's possible to conceive of any kind of act that has not actually been committed recently. Forget CERN and their supposed efforts to open a portal for extra-dimensional beings to enter this realm; never mind the hybrid Nephilim from who knows where; the real monsters are already appearing all around us, rising from out of the pitch-black abyss ~ in the souls of . . . dare I call them "humans?"
Today, I came across a "news" article which glorifies the fact that an eight-year old boy is a "drag superstar," in Montreal, Canada. Here is a link to that article; though I warn you, it is disgusting. Skimming over that article, provoked me to anger, not so much toward that child but toward his parents and toward every other person who in any way has condoned and encouraged such an outrage! Which got me to thinking about how angry God must be.
Within a few minutes of seeing that mess, I then happened across certain videos on YouTube, which videos (produced by professed Christians) disclosed goings-on so utterly repulsive and obscene that I cannot even provide a link to those, as they include many things so far beyond the bounds of propriety that I would be ashamed to expose anyone else to such things. However, as those events and scenes passed in abominable procession before me, I contemplated how near we now are to the unveiling of God's wrath in the soon-coming Tribulation. And, again, I thought about how angry God must surely be.
The mind ~ of rational, moral beings (of which, according to Scripture, there exist various kinds of such beings) ~ is a most precious creation and gift of God. And, most powerful. Which also makes the mind of such, intelligent beings (notice, I did not there say "rational" or "moral"), the most dangerous entity. Who, really, understands the nature and structure of the mind? But this I do know from Scripture: which is, that once that God rejects someone and "[gives] them over to a reprobate mind," there is then absolutely nothing of the light of God to illumine, to strengthen, to constrain, to protect from evil, the mind of one whom God has utterly forsaken. And, yes, God has forsaken many still-living souls! The following is how the Bible describes the condition of those whose mind is "reprobate" (don't just glance at the following description, but really think about what it means):
"And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them." (Romans 1:28-32)They are everywhere, today.
"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." (2 Timothy 3:1-5)"Perilous times" have, in fact, arrived. The Bible tells us that what is just ahead is going to be a time of "great tribulation [trouble, suffering], such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be [again]" (Matthew 24:21). That means that the singular-most awful time in all of human history (past, present and future) is even now at the door, in this present generation!
But what else does that then mean? It means that Christ is ready to return ~ "in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ" (2 Thessalonians 1:8). In other words, God ~ who is "slow to anger," must already by now be very angry! Which I'm unapologetically rock-solid certain that is the case.
I happen to know, too, from Scripture, that those Christians who shall be glorified, at the Rapture, are going to have an important role ~ during the Tribulation, in which the then-glorified saints shall be given to:
"execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD." (Psalm 149:7-9)Seeing, then, that God is ready to send Christ in flaming fire to take vengeance upon the ungodly; and, that, after the soon-coming Rapture, the then-glorified saints shall be tasked, during the Tribulation, to carry out "the judgment written"; THEREFORE, should it not also be true of us, as it is true of God, that we should be filled with righteous indignation toward the gross wickedness that now pervades human society?
But it seems as if even well-meaning Christians are too timid to allow themselves to express anger at what is going on in this sin-sick, reprobate society! We ourselves have become conditioned, by the incessant onslaught of propaganda that pervades modern culture, to conform to the world's standards regarding "proper social etiquette." As if a world full of God-haters, sexual perverts, baby-butchers, thieves, liars, and devil-worshipers ~ is nevertheless "polite society." Who are they kidding? No doubt, those devils would love for Christians to just shut up! SHUT UP!!
But if we are not now angered by such horrendous evil as lately has been manifested throughout the world, then what makes us think that we are nevertheless ready to ascend ~ any day now ~ to be with Christ at the Rapture; whereupon, it shall then be given us to carry out the judgment and wrath of God, during the Tribulation? If I'm not moved to anger now, by the appearance of evil; how shall I be angry then? Seeing, that "then" could literally be as soon as the coming days or weeks?
God is looking for some angry men and women. No, I don't mean those who are short-tempered and frustrated with their own bad circumstances. But God is looking a man, a woman ~ even a young person ~ whose heart burns with jealousy for the holiness of God and for the glory of His kingdom; whose mind is aflame with righteous indignation against the rebelliousness and hatred of the wicked! God is looking for some, true Christians, who "love righteousness, and hate iniquity."
God is looking for someone ~ who will renounce the fear of man, and be valiant for the truth, and come boldly to the battle: for, everything ~ pertaining to this generation ~ is at stake.
"Here; here is the fire," says the Lord within me. "Take it!! Run with it~ "
