prophecy shining brightly

Throughout the years, I have heard many professing Christians object to the need ~ and even the value ~ of studying Bible prophecy.  Since no one knows nor can know the time of Christ's return (they foolishly assert), then all that Christians need do or can do is to simply "be ready."  I don't think well of that position; but I'll leave it at that.  As for myself, though, now, more than ever before in my life, my years of studying Bible prophecy are paying huge dividends to me, in terms of: strengthening my faith in God's Word; giving me great hope concerning the nearness of the Rapture; helping me to make sense of what is going in the world ~ which, that ability, is tremendously important in this time of increasing insanity; and, not least, motivating me to be zealous for souls, for Christ's sake.

Bible prophecy ~ the light of which, throughout the past half-century and more, has been growing in intensity ~ is now shining like the noonday sun in its brilliance.

I could literally write a(nother) book about the convergence of current events, showing, how many different things are aligned perfectly in accordance with the Biblical revelation pertaining to the End times.  Let me direct your attention to a particularly relevant passage of prophetic Scripture, as follows:
"Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.  And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.  In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.  And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.  In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.  The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.  In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.  And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.  And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced..."  (Zechariah 12:2-10)
There is a great wealth of evidence in Scripture which proves that we are right now living "in that day" that was prophesied by Zechariah.  Jerusalem has been a "burdensome stone" for the nations, throughout this present generation ~ though never more so than right now.  Read the news.  There is intense speculation that President Trump, on this very day (December 06, 2017), may declare that the United States is relocating its embassy in Israel, from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.  Meanwhile, much of the rest of the world has threatened that such a move may ignite World War III.  Sounds just like Zechariah chapter 12, to me.

And look, above, at what God said he is going to do, "in that day."  Pay special attention to certain enigmatic phrases such as: "...the governors of Judah"; "the tents of Judah"; and, "the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them."  There seems, to me, to be in those words an allusion to the Rapture.  It must be so: for, the passage concludes with a strong suggestion of the return of Jesus himself to Jerusalem; which, we know, shall occur at the Second Coming.

Click this link --->(here), to watch a great video in which Amir Tsarfati speaks about how that current events are perfectly setting up the scenario for the fulfillment of Ezekiel's War ~ and how all of that points to the fact that the Rapture is truly imminent (which cannot be overemphasized).  I wholeheartedly agree with Amir's assessment and conclusions.

Bible prophecy also gives me reason to believe that the ongoing and rapid divergence that is taking place, whereby the world is growing darker whilst the true body of Christ is being purged and prepared for Christ's return, must very soon cause a sort of rupture to occur in the world, which will result in each "camp" manifesting its own, respective nature in full form.  Knowing that the Rapture is now imminent; and, knowing that Antichrist's appearing is also now imminent: should at the very least suggest (to those who are spiritually minded,) that a great change is coming not only to the world but, more important, to the body of Christ.  But the promise of that divine transformation is limited: "[U]nto them that look for him [Christ] shall he appear the second time" (Hebrews 9:28).

Where is it that are we supposed to "look for" Christ ~ if not in the prophetic Word?  A woman whose soldier husband were supposed to be coming home from a lengthy tour of duty overseas, would not be waiting for him at the airport, if she paid little attention to the details which indicated the place and time whereat her husband was supposed to arrive.

In keeping with that same analogy (meeting someone upon their arrival at the airport); although the place and time of that person's arrival may be reasonably well known, yet there remains an element of uncertainty as to the exact time when the expected plane may actually land and its passengers disembark.  So it is concerning the Rapture.  We can know, according to Scripture, very nearly when to expect the return of Christ; though we do not know exactly "the day nor the hour" when that will be.

If you haven't already done so, I encourage you to watch the video, for which I provided a link, above.  Tsarfati does a good job of describing some very important insights related to Bible prophecy and current events, which it would take me a lot of time to write out.

Jesus is coming, sooner rather than later.  The Bible even encourages us with the promise that "those days" would be "shortened," due to the necessity and urgency of the world-situation during the last days.  Jesus himself also said: "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh" (Matthew 24:44).

There aren't very many professing Christians (in America, at least) who have even yet left the comfort of their homes, in order to "get to the airport" on time.  When that "plane" does arrive, it is not so that Christ can at that time put his feet on the earth.  Rather, when Christ appears, at the Rapture, those who are ready shall be taken up into the clouds to be with the Lord.  As for me and my house, we've already cleared the security checkpoint and we're just waiting for the announcement: "Flight 777 to Paradise is now boarding at gate 1..."
