the Syria crisis in perspective

There is so much secrecy in government, and so much disinformation amongst the hodgepodge of media sources mainstream and otherwise, that it's nearly impossible to know what's really going on behind the scenes in Washington, D.C..  In the recent case of President Trump's decision to withdraw American troops from Syria; and, General Mattis's seemingly abrupt resignation (dismissal?) immediately following Trump's announcement to withdraw; it appears that Trump's decision has created no small crisis in his own Administration.  But what's really going on?

We can actually do better than merely guess at the reality.  Let's start with what we know to be true.
  1. There are currently about 2,000 American military personnel in Syria (prior to Trump's announcement).  That is a very small number compared with the number of American troops stationed in many other locations throughout the world.
  2. Trump's presidential campaign included his promise to withdraw American troops from Syria.
  3. With respect to Trump's stated objective, American troops have very substantially, if not entirely, eradicated ISIS in Syria; mission accomplished.
  4. The sitting President is the Commander in Chief of America's Armed Forces.
  5. As head of the Executive branch of government, the President is also responsible for developing and managing foreign policy on behalf of his Administration.
  6. General Mattis shed some light upon the reason for his resignation, by saying (in essence) that President Trump deserved  a Defense Secretary whose views more closely aligned with President Trump's own views.  Thus, General Mattis tacitly acknowledged that he disagreed with the President's decision to withdraw from Syria.
Can it be that General Mattis was so adamantly opposed to withdrawing from Syria that he was willing to abdicate his role as Defense Secretary, as a symbol of protest against President Trump's decision? ~ which decision was fully in keeping both with Trump's campaign pledge as well as with Trump's declared mission statement.  And if General Mattis so profoundly disagreed with President Trump's decision regarding Syria, then why hasn't Mattis come out publicly to denounce in no uncertain terms the President's action?  Yet, that has not been the case.

What should we interpret General Mattis's resignation to mean?

What does Mattis's resignation say about his own allegiance?  If his allegiance is to serve and protect the American people ~ in no small part by upholding the Constitution, then, should not the Secretary of Defense respect and obey the lawful decisions of his Commander in Chief?

If we were to conclude our analysis right there, we would have to say it appears that General Mattis was willing to serve as Defense Secretary albeit only so long as the President's foreign policy decisions agreed with Mattis's own agenda.  If that was actually the case, then we should be very glad that 'Mad Dog' Mattis, as he has sometimes been called, is gone.

But there is still another factor that must be considered, namely: a recent post (link: #2637) from the enigmatic "Qanon," wherein "Q" hinted that Mattis's resignation was predetermined in cooperation with President Trump and other so-called "white hats" (good guys) ~ such that General Mattis would be relieved from his duties as Secretary of Defense, in order that he might then help to orchestrate and oversee a massive and soon-coming tsunami of military tribunals.  If that scenario is true, then it is plausible that the real reason for Mattis's resignation was intentionally concealed.  Although, I suppose (though I do not know) that the Secretary of Defense would play an important role in carrying out military tribunals....

I am no expert on reading body language.  But it seems to me that General Mattis and President Trump have always had good 'chemistry' between themselves; notwithstanding, there have been numerous instances in which the mainstream media, especially, have tried repeatedly to make it appear that President Trump's own Cabinet officers are opposed to their Chief Executive.

In order to understand the situation involving General Mattis, it is furthermore important to note that the mainstream media and their Leftist sycophants are foaming at the mouth, over Trump's decision to withdraw from Syria.  In view of the Left's long history of protesting against America's supposed imperialism and military adventurism, their feigned horror regarding Trump's decision to withdraw from Syria makes no sense at all; except, their hatred for Trump, personally, sufficiently explains EVERYTHING the Left says and does these days.

Considering all the factors above alluded to, I surmise that one of two things must be true, namely, either: A) "Q" is right, and Trump and Mattis are still working very closely together to accomplish the overthrow of the so-called Deep State ~ in which case we may have good hope for the future of America; or, B) "Q" is a fraud, and General Mattis is a self-serving egomaniac ~ in which case we ourselves ought to pray that President Trump should also be removed from power.  For, Trump has done much to lend credence to the "Q phenomenon." Therefore, if "Q" is a fraud, then so is Trump.

As it has turned out, the "Q Movement" has become an exceedingly high-stakes enterprise.  Even in the recent melodrama related to Syria, as above discussed, it is evident that the "Q phenomenon" has become, for an increasingly large number of Q-followers not only in America but around the world, an integral, indeed a decisive, factor in geopolitics.  It has become a Movement that either threatens to shred the already threadbare fabric of American society, as well as to extinguish the flame of hope amongst many throughout the world; or, one that promises to 'mend-in-time' the gaping holes in our own nation's Soul, and to show the way to restore freedom to multitudes in other lands.
