transgenderism: what's at stake?

What is the gender of the above pictured creature?  Male or female?  Or is it, perhaps, some as yet undefined gender?  How can anyone know?  These days, clothing styles evoke no implicit relationship to gender identity; intentionally so.  Preeminently important is the fact that those who claim to have gender dysphoria (dissatisfaction with one's biological gender) ~ together with those who for other reasons are advocates for transgenderism, adamantly insist that gender identity is completely unrelated to biological realities.  Therefore, since it is supposedly impossible to determine (other persons') gender based upon observation of physical appearance whether of clothing or of body habitus (though that idea does violence to Reason): In that case, the only means whereby (others') gender may be known, is by means of language.

Houston, we have a problem.  A very serious one.

As far as I know, "gender dysphoria" is still legally considered to be a mental disorder, at least in the United States.  (Don't expect that to remain the case for much longer.)  But that abnormal mental condition, which affects comparatively very few individuals, does not concern me nearly so much as what I see is happening to societies that are rapidly succumbing, en masse, to a different kind of psychosis ~ something which can best be described as mass-delusion ("an idiosyncratic belief or impression that is firmly maintained despite being contradicted by what is generally accepted as reality or rational...").

The Scripture states: "[B]ecause they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved...God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness" (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12).

But let us return to consider the problem regarding language being the only means, supposedly, whereby it is possible to discern (others') gender.

By far! the most important amongst multifarious problems created by the Transgender Movement, as that has been and is still being broadly implemented, is  its effect to disconnect language and Reality, on a mass scale .  The identity which exists between language and Reality, is the basis of rationality, that is, of right Reason.  Delusion, as shown above, is another term for irrationality.  Whereas delusion exists within one's own mind; yet, every delusional thought is conceived as well as expressed in terms of a disjunction between language and Reality.  Delusion is the product of disconnecting language from any true correspondence to Reality.

Thus, so-called transgenders, as well as their ideological supporters, are attempting to force patterns of delusional Ideation upon the rest of Society, by agitating for acceptance, amongst Society generally, of their radical program to divorce language from Reality.  That radical program is not a new stratagem, however.  Pro-abortionists have been implementing that same radical program for decades; which, program, is lately being extended and applied to promote infanticide.  Other horrors, we can be sure, will emerge from the Abyss, through that same open door of irrational perversion of language ~ so long as a majority of this nation may continue to resist the truth of God.

Delusion ~ believing a lie in the face of what is true and real, is the judgment of God against those who persist to reject the truth.  The end of which ~ in the absence of repentance, is damnation.

Civil society depends, for its cohesion and peace, upon rational laws; which, rational laws depend, for their construction, upon the rational use of language.  By seeking to craft law predicated upon irrational forms of language; and, by seeking to impose the same upon Society at large; the Transgender Movement ~ its Ideas and goals ~ poses an existential threat to civil society.
