"The Return" ~ Jonathan Cahn

Here we go, again.  Believe me, the only reason I give my time to write about heretics and apostates, is because I feel compelled to do so, as I firmly believe, by the Spirit of God.  It is a very needful and important ~ though unpleasant ~ part of being a 'watchman'.

Very recently I became aware of an upcoming event that is scheduled for late September of this year (2020).  That event is called, "The Return" (link to the website, HERE).  From what I know about the people involved in it, that event is likely to generate a huge turnout a few months from now in Wash., D.C.; moreover, between now and September, it will create a lot of buzz in the church-world. (Please ~ to save me time writing to explain it; and, to save you time reading it: watch the brief video trailer that is prominently linked on the homepage of that website.)

I'm sure a lot of well-meaning Christians will believe that such an event as "The Return" is supposed to be, is a good and needful thing.  After all, what Christian person would say that a nationwide call for repentance and Revival in America is not a good thing?

Nevertheless, I have very grave concerns about it.  I think you should, too....
Where to begin?  Let's start with the image, above.   Charisma  magazine.  For those who have followed HeadJanitor for any length of time, you should be familiar with most of the faces shown on that cover.  I will not hesitate to say that nearly all of them are heretics; I will further say that most of them are in fact apostates.  Charima magazine definitely has a penchant for promoting such.  Steve Strang ~ publisher and founder of Charisma, is one of the principals involved in promoting and supporting "The Return".  Strang is part of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) network: it is Satanic in the extremeStrike 1.

Pat Robertson  (photo at top-right, on the Charisma cover shown above), together with his son Gordon Robertson, are also principal supporters of and contributors to "The Return".  I attended Regent University (founded, and still presided over, by Pat Robertson).  I received an academic scholarship to attend; I was a straight-A student as long as I was there.  Which wasn't long.  I walked away from Regent after just over a year.  It was, hands down, the most eye-opening experience in my Christian life, until that time (I was then 45 years old).  I would strenuously advise everyone to stay as far away as you can from Regent University, and from everything else that Pat Robertson is associated with ~ including his Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN).   Robertson's CBN promotes lots of heretics and apostates ~ including many who are part of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) network of so-called "apostles" and "prophets".  Strike 2.

John Kilpatrick  (not shown in the above image), is another of the principals in "The Return".  Kilpatrick became (in)famous for being the host pastor of the so-called "Brownsville Revival", which started twenty-five years ago (1995) in Pensacola, Florida.  That 'revival' is notable as being the phenomenon that kicked off a long series of similar 'revivals', over the ensuing years: all of which, those supposed revivals, were characterized by heretical teachings and a strong emphasis on so-called "signs and wonders" including lots of weird manifestations (here is an eye-witness account of "gold dust" and "feathers" falling inside the church, at the Brownsville revival).

Kilpatrick is deeply involved with the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR).  Strike 3.

Robert Morris  is another one of the principals of "The Return".  He pastors the 3rd (some say the 4th) largest church in America, called, "Gateway".  A brief search on the Internet revealed that Morris has a close affiliation with James Robison ~ a devious ecumenist who has long been working behind the scenes to bring about the unification of the evangelical churches with the Roman Catholic Church.  Indeed, Robison is (or was) an "elder" in Morris's Gateway church.  Morris has appeared on Robison's TV show "Life Today" ~ which, according to Robison, is seen by over One Million people every day.  That's quite enough for me to warn against Morris ~ whether or not he may be part of the NAR, I don't know; though it does seem highly likely, to me.  Strike 4.

Jonathan Cahn  (pictured, at top-left, on the Charisma cover shown above).  If you want to see Jonathan Cahn, you can see him often on the Jim Bakker TV show extravaganza.  While you're there, you can buy some kind of silver-based product which is hyped to be effectual to ward off Coronavirus ~ for only $175.oo.  (Except, I think the FCC and FTC recently shut down that fraud.)

Cahn promotes himself as a Jewish Rabbi Christian prophet.  He is a prolific author ~ all of his books seem to have the word "mystery" in their titles, somewhere.  Kabbalah, anyone?  Cahn is a gifted speaker; I'll give him that.  But shouldn't a "prophet" be capable to discern false prophets and deceivers ~ especially, those of the sinister NAR clan?  I mean, he's literally surrounded by them, in this big, upcoming event, "The Return".  Unless....  Strike 5.

America is in desperate spiritual condition!  We've been killing babies by the scores of millions!  Evil and darkness is everywhere!  Judgment is literally at the door!  Says Jonathan Cahn, in the video trailer for "The Return".  What are we to do??

I know!  Let's put together a huge event.  Let's televise it across the nation.  Let's get a bunch of NAR people to help us push it (they have really big money....).  Then ~ for a really special touch, let's schedule the event to coincide with some important, "prophetic" dates, i.e.: the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower's departure from England; and the days between the Feast of Trumpets and the Feast of Tabernacles (I wonder if that was Cahn's idea?).  And, of course, we'll need lots of time to promote this thing ~ if we want it be a national event.  How does September 26 sound?  Oh, by the way, that date happens to be exactly 40 days before the presidential election (Cahn points out).  Another mystical coincidence?

America is desperate.  God is really, really angry.  Yeah.  But we can wait several months before we get people to come to D.C. to pray for revival.  But it will be big!  Really big.  After all, these things take lots of time (and money) to organize and promote....

So, don't forget to donate (via their website).  You wouldn't believe how much money it takes to ask Americans to repent and turn to God.  How much?  Well, according to their website:
"Making possible an event and movement of such magnitude and importance takes millions of dollars."

Strike 6.   Game over.

Uh, what's Carter Conlon doing there....?   Reckon I'll be looking more deeply into him, in the coming days.
