transformation


There are many different kinds of caterpillars, but they all (?) have certain things in common, namely: they are not beautiful to look at; they crawl everywhere they go; and, inevitably, they get themselves all tangled up, as shown in the above photo.

Oh, and one more thing: they have the potential to experience something extraordinary....

two paths


In reality there are only two paths between which to choose.  And choose we must.  Neither the choice nor the consequences of our choice can by any means be avoided.  Either we believe that the Bible is true--and that the God of the Bible is who he says he is; or, else, we believe the Bible is false: in which case we cannot know anything with certainty about God.  There is only light or darkness; heaven or hell; life or death; peace or torment: there is no middle ground.

change is coming


The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?   (Jeremiah 5:31)

Those, who foresaw the judgment of God coming afar off, warned as many as would listen.  Tragically, not many cared to listen.  Now, a sense of alarm and dread seems to grip the mind of everyone in this nation (America).  Still, there appear to be few who understand that the real cause of judgment against this nation has little to do with what goes on in Washington, D.C..

being an overcomer


Who hasn't confronted obstacles in life, such that the temptation just to give up seems to be the only option?  Who hasn't surrendered, at some point in his or her life, a project, a hope, a dream--because the obstacles to success appeared to be too great to be worth the effort?  Such experiences and feelings are common to all.  What is not common, however, are real-life examples of some who, against all odds, overcame, in their private battles.  In the short video, below, is a beautiful example of one such person....

the meaning of the Rapture


Although much has been written about the Rapture of the Church, yet, much of what has been written is wrong.  Neither the nature nor the timing of the Rapture has been well understood, though a lot has been written concerning those aspects. But in this short essay, I want to discuss the meaning of the Rapture; which, in the range of my studies, I have found very little that deals specifically with that.
